Male lions rarely hunt when they are in a pride. They are huge and have manes, which makes them easy to spot a mile away! Lionesses tend to do the hard work.
How unfair is that?

They can spend up to 20 hours a day not doing anything.
Lions are endangered animals. This means that there are so few alive that there would be no more lions left in the world if those were to die!
Lions use urine to mark their homes. This tells other lions not to come around. Lions dislike visitors, and they will get grumpy if other lions try to visit them.
